ESCRIPTION:
The PR6003 is a single chip, 0.35um SiGe
BiCMOS, fully integrated radio transceiver
designed for use in IEEE 802.11b wireless
communication devices that operate in the 2.4-
GHz ISM Band. Prominent's PR6003 contains
on-chip VCO, synthesizers, LNA, PA Driver,
and both Tx and Rx Gain Controls.
The PR6003 employs a RF front-end zero-IF
design to eliminate any RF image. It is
specially targeted for low power consumption,
low cost applications, which still require high-
data rate performance. To further reduce the
total system cost, it does not require an
external balun or T/R switch. The PR6003 is
compatible with several Base Band modem,
and MAC devices and provides differential
Analog Interfaces to improve Noise immunity.
The PR6003 Transceiver is housed in a
sleek 6mmx6mmx0.9mm, 40-Pin Leadless
Chip Carrier Package.
