unlimited logical combinations
· Up to 8 levels of complex logical conditions which support 16 "IF - THEN - DO" sequences per
level
· Extensive "Do List" allows for multiple actions including breaking, triggering, stop/resume trace
recording, start/stop timer, go to next level, etc.
Sequence Events for Breaking and Triggering
· Sequence up to eight events that can be any combination of addresses, address ranges, specific
data values, data ranges, status bits, or external inputs
· Status bits support read/write, program/data accesses, and processor bus control signals
Set Complex Breakpoints in RAM, ROM, PROM, or Flash
· 128 breakpoints can be set on any memory address or instruction in RAM, ROM, PROM, or Flash
· Can be virtually any complex event sequence
Use Triggers to Capture and Analyze Data via Trace or Test Equipment
· 0 to 16 million cycles of delay can be used to capture data around a particular point of interest
providing logic analyzer functionality
· 8 external trigger inputs available
· BNC pulse and level trigger outputs provided
Deep Trace Buffers Show Precisely What is Happening and When
· 128K cycle deep trace buffer is standard and shows any combination of high-level source code,
disassembly, state information, and delta/relative time stamp with 30ns resolution
· Cycle, address, data, external inputs, and bus activity information all display in a single window
· Up to 8192 separate trace buffers can be defined in the 128K space
View Execution Times / Code Coverage With Hardware-Based Performance Analysis
· Analyze modules and display raw and histogram data with 30ns resolution and code coverage
analysis
Source Level Debugger Included
· The acclaimed SourceGate II Source Level debugger for Windows 95/98/ME/XP/2000/NT included
